End User License Agreement

01 The licence we grant you

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") governs your use of the Infercia software — the Infercia mobile app and the Iris IELTS platform (the "Software"). It works alongside our Terms of Service; if there's a conflict about the Software specifically, this EULA controls.

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms, Infercia grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Software on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial learning. This is a licence, not a sale — Infercia keeps all ownership of the Software.

02 What you may do

• Install and use the Software on your personal devices;
• Use it to learn English and prepare for IELTS as intended;
• Keep using it for as long as this licence remains in effect.

03 What you may not do

Except where applicable law expressly permits it (and only to that extent), you may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, or attempt to derive its source code, models, or prompts;
• Copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise make the Software available to anyone else;
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
• Use the Software to build a competing product or to train another machine-learning model;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, usage limits, or licensing features;
• Use the Software unlawfully or in any way not permitted by this EULA or the Terms.

04 Ownership & intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in the Software — including its code, design, content, trademarks, and the "Infercia", "Amigo", and "Iris" names — belong to Infercia and its licensors. This EULA grants you only the limited licence described above and no other rights, express or implied.

05 Third-party & open-source components

The Software may include third-party and open-source components that are provided under their own licence terms. Where those terms apply, they govern your use of those specific components. A list of material third-party components and their licences is available on request at [email protected].

06 App-store terms

If you obtained the Software through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use is also subject to that store's terms. Where required by Apple, you acknowledge that this EULA is between you and Infercia only — not Apple — and that Apple is not responsible for the Software or for any claims relating to it, but may enforce this EULA as a third-party beneficiary.

07 Updates

We may provide updates, upgrades, or patches to the Software. Unless they come with separate terms, they're covered by this EULA. Some updates may be required for the Software to keep working.

08 Warranty disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INFERCIA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Infercia does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated output will be accurate.

09 Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INFERCIA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10 Termination

This licence remains in effect until terminated. It ends automatically if you breach any of its terms, and we may terminate it if you misuse the Software. On termination, you must stop using the Software and remove it from your devices. Sections on ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.
