Delete your account
01 Before you delete
Deleting your Infercia account is permanent. You'll lose your learning history, streaks, progress, and IELTS practice, and this can't be undone. If you only want a break, you can simply stop using the app instead — your progress will be waiting when you come back.
If you have an active paid subscription (Gold or Diamond), deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing. Cancel the subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or it may continue to renew.
02 Delete from inside the app
The quickest way is directly in the Infercia app:
- Open the Infercia app and sign in;
- Go to Settings → Account;
- Tap Delete account;
- Confirm when prompted.
Once confirmed, your account is scheduled for deletion and you'll be signed out.
03 Or request deletion by email
If you can't access your account, or you'd prefer we do it for you, email us and we'll take care of it:
Email: [email protected]
Subject: Account deletion request
Please send it from the email address on your account, or include the email/username you signed up with, so we can verify the request.
We'll confirm by email and complete the deletion within 30 days.
04 What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove your personal data associated with it, including:
- Your profile and account details;
- Your learning content — lessons, messages with Amigo, and IELTS submissions;
- Your progress, streaks, scores, and preferences.
05 What we may keep
We may retain limited information where the law requires it or for legitimate business needs, such as:
- Transaction and billing records required for tax or accounting;
- Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you;
- Information needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse.
Residual copies may persist in secure backups for a short time before being overwritten, and are removed within 30 days in line with our Privacy Policy.
